Description

Rutini Colección Chardonnay

Rutini Colección Chardonnay expresses the elegance and purity of Argentina’s renowned Uco Valley. Rutini sources the grapes from its estate vineyards in Gualtallary, El Cepillo, and La Consulta, three of Mendoza’s most respected wine-growing regions.

These high-altitude vineyards benefit from cool mountain conditions and dramatic day-to-night temperature shifts. Their stony, well-drained soils encourage slow ripening and help develop exceptional freshness, balance, and character.

The prestigious Rutini Colección range highlights the distinctive identity of each terroir. Rutini’s vineyard team hand-harvests every parcel and carefully selects the fruit. This meticulous approach delivers a Chardonnay with remarkable purity, complexity, and refinement.

A Legacy of Innovation Since 1885

Felipe Rutini founded Rutini Wines in 1885 and helped shape Argentine viticulture. In 1925, the winery became the first to establish vineyards in the Uco Valley. Later, Rutini modernised its historic La Rural facilities and opened a state-of-the-art winery in Tupungato in 2008.

Today, Rutini Wines produces acclaimed labels including Felipe Rutini, Antología, Apartado, Single Vineyard, Dominio, Colección Rutini, Encuentro, and Trumpeter. The vineyards thrive at elevations between 1,050 and 1,200 metres, allowing the winery to craft wines that express both place and variety.

Winemaking Excellence

Rutini Wines produces approximately 8.5 million litres annually while maintaining strict quality standards. The modern Tupungato facility supports every stage of production with advanced technology and precision winemaking.

Mariano Di Paola has led the winemaking team since 1994. Together with a specialised agronomy team, he focuses on vineyard management practices that enhance terroir expression. The winery also operates advanced fermentation systems and maintains 6,500 French oak barrels. As a result, Rutini achieves exceptional consistency, complexity, and ageing potential across its premium portfolio.

Aging: 12 months in french oak.
