Description

San Felipe wines are a well known Argentinean wine line produced by Bodega ‘La Rural’, one of the country’s oldest and most historic wineries, founded in 1885 by Felipe Rutini. San Felipe represents a traditional, widely recognised range of wines from Argentina, particularly associated with the Mendoza region, the heart of the country’s wine industry. The vineyards benefit from high-altitude conditions near the Andes, with strong sunlight and temperature variation that help produce high-quality grapes. The San Felipe label dates back to the early 20th century and is one of the oldest brands within the winery’s portfolio. It has become a symbol of Argentine winemaking heritage, combining long-standing tradition with modern production techniques.

Aging: 3 months in french oak.

Notes

TASTING NOTES: With its pale pink hue and copper highlights, this rosé offers fresh aromas of cherry, raspberry, and a subtle citrus note. On the palate, it is lively, dry, and vibrant, with bright acidity and a delicately mineral finish that speaks of its mountain origin.
