Cabernet and Merlot grapes, strongly characterized by our terroir, give a wine particularly suitable for long aging in wood. This is a wine that contains the great enjoyment of an international blend and the power and charm of a unique territory.
WINE MAKING AND AGEING:
The alcoholic fermentation take place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature to allow a prolonged contact of the must with the skins. Malolactic fermentation occurs in November right after the alcoholic fermentation. Maturation is carried out for the first 10-12 months in French oak barrels, 50% new and 50% one year old, followed by 6-8 months of bottle ageing.
