Fabiano Settimo Miglio Pinot Grigio

Winemaking & Heritage

Fabiano Settimo Miglio Pinot Grigio DOC is a fresh and elegant Italian white wine that captures the vibrant character of the Veneto region. Produced by the historic Fabiano winery, this Pinot Grigio combines tradition, quality, and authenticity in a crisp and refreshing style. Furthermore, it reflects over a century of winemaking expertise developed by the Fabiano family.

The name Settimo Miglio, meaning “Seventh Mile”, pays tribute to the winery’s location near Verona. As a result, the wine maintains a strong connection to the culture, history, and winemaking traditions of northern Italy. Today, Fabiano continues to craft wines that honour their heritage while appealing to modern wine lovers.

Made from carefully selected 100% Pinot Grigio grapes, Fabiano Settimo Miglio Pinot Grigio DOC highlights the purity and elegance of this renowned variety. While the favourable Veneto climate encourages vibrant fruit expression, meticulous vineyard management helps preserve freshness and balance. Consequently, the grapes reach optimal ripeness while retaining their natural acidity and aromatic intensity.

After harvest, the winemaking team gently presses the grapes to preserve their delicate flavours and aromas. Next, they ferment the juice at controlled temperatures to maximise freshness and varietal character. As a result, the wine develops a clean, vibrant profile that showcases the best qualities of Pinot Grigio. In addition, the careful production process enhances the wine’s natural elegance and drinkability.

Tasting Notes

In the glass, Fabiano Settimo Miglio Pinot Grigio DOC displays a pale lemon colour with subtle green reflections. The bouquet reveals fresh aromas of green apple, citrus, and delicate white flowers. Meanwhile, the palate is dry, soft, and beautifully balanced. Moreover, notes of pear and lemon provide extra freshness and appeal. At the same time, subtle mineral undertones add complexity and refinement. Finally, lively acidity carries the wine through to a crisp and refreshing finish.

This versatile Italian white wine is ideal as an aperitif and complements a wide range of dishes. For example, it pairs beautifully with seafood, grilled fish, fresh salads, light pasta dishes, and antipasto platters. Likewise, its bright acidity makes it an excellent match for Mediterranean cuisine.
